Key Job Responsibilities:

Assist the Production Coordinator in the safe performance of the day to day operation of site process area
Follow the operating procedures for the process area as stipulated
Ensure on site contractors conduct the day to day business by following HSE and operating procedures
Schedule and conclude tasks as directed by the Production Coordinator
Support site team in the safe and efficient completion of agreed plans
Record all production shutdowns and losses
Take daily readings as required by operations
Ensure all readings and log sheets are completed accurately, report and review for abnormal conditions
Monitor chemical injection and optimize procedure
Ensure equipment requiring maintenance work is properly reported, shutdown, isolated and returned to service in accordance with company rules and procedures
Maintain good housekeeping standard at all times to ensure a clean and safe working environment for all employees
Knowledge and application of company procedures
Comply with all health and safety requirements as stipulated within company procedures
Any other duties deemed necessary for the benefit of the company by management

Ensure that all relevant permit to work requirements are adhered to within the area of responsibility

Knowledge and Experience on OIL & GAS operations are essential and an advantage
Schedule and conclude tasks as directed by the Production Coordinator

Following the operating procedures for the production area as stipulated by Thermal Coordinator and Production/Thermal Supervisor/Field Supervisor
Ensure that all relevant permit to work requirements are adhered to within the area of responsibility
Ensure on site contractors conduct the day to day business by following HSE and operating procedures
Starting up and shutting down of the boilers
Gathering daily and hourly data from panel view
Gathering discharge water samples to determine steam quality
Monitoring boiler performance and report any abnormalities to lead Operator B
Gathering samples from HFO’s to determine BS & W of the fuel oil
Draining free water from HFO tanks
Knowledge and Experience on OIL & GAS operations are essential and an advantage

Key Job Responsibilities:

Determines the optimum balance by facility between Private Fleet and Carriers from safety, cost and service standpoints
Understand business requirements from marketing, operations and sales teams to make informed decisions around capacity and service
Tracks utilization of tractors and trailers and drives the use of the private fleet, as well as making recommendations for the redeployment or addition of units
Tracks and reports on cost control programs (e.g. Fuel Purchasing, Tire Replacement)
Ensures that applications or renewals for licenses, permits or other programs are executed in an accurate and timely manner
Provides oversight to external vendors, particularly in consolidation of management reporting
Participate in negotiation of truck contracts
Negotiation and administration of lease/purchase contracts for tractors and tank trailers
Report/Research the current market size of fuel transportation – identify how many carriers are currently operating, their respective market share, and fleet size
Advise and implement system for identifying, hiring, training qualified operators
Advise on the best possible fleet maintenance planner(s)
